Axa Sunlife

Background
The AXA Group of companies provide financial protection and wealth management solutions, including insurance and private healthcare, that help people get the best out of their lives. AXA-Sunlife, one of the AXA companies, is a major employer in Bristol.
Objectives
As a thank you to their staff AXA-Sunlife wanted to hold an event. They wanted it to e pretty spectacular where their staff and their partners could attend and feel they were being truly rewarded and thanked. A summer ball was decided upon.
Solution
Revelation Event Management were recommended to AXA-Sunlife and were appointed event production & management company.
The ball & gala dinner was held at the Empire & Commonwealth Museum in Bristol and the theme was centred around a night for the stars.
The guests arrived in their black tie and evening dress, to be greeted by Paparazzi and autograph hunters…a fun start that created quite a stir. They arrived at the entrance to the venue which was also lit spectacularly and along with the red carpet this gave the impression this was going to be a night to remember.
The venue was dressed with lots of starcloth and draping, colour washes on the ceiling and baffle walls. Together with the moving lights and creative lighting the venue looked stunning – a space fit for stars! In addition there where gorgeous floral arrangement in Axa corporate colours.
Revelation felt that a night such as this one required an alternative solution to the toilets at the venue. A temporary solution was to bring in smart portable toilets.
Event managers were onsite during the event to ensure everything ran smoothly and there was entertainment provided by stilt walkers and ‘look alikes’ (Ali G & Basil Fawlty).
Results
AXA-Sunlife were delighted with the Summer Ball. They stated “Thank you for all your help you afforded me in making our ball a great success.
